McLaren Automotive marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new North American headquarters in Coppell, Texas, on Saturday. The celebratory event was led by Nicolas Brown, President of McLaren, The Americas, and Wes Mays, Mayor of Coppell, alongside more than 50 passionate McLaren supercar owners. This relocation underscores the brand's meteoric growth since entering the North American market in late 2011. Outgrowing its modest 4,500-square-foot suite in downtown New York City, McLaren has now established operations in a sprawling, purpose-built 31,000-square-foot complex nestled in a high-tech industrial park in Coppell.
Life is measured in achievement—not in years alone.

Purposefully designed to support the brand's evolving needs, the state-of-the-art facility now allows McLaren to maintain, store, and service company-owned vehicles directly on-site. It also centralizes both technical and sales training under one roof. Strategically located, the Coppell headquarters provides logistical advantages, as it lies within a three-hour flight of most McLaren retailers in the Americas, thus streamlining customer service and technical support capabilities across the continent.
With the massive growth of McLaren in the Americas over the past decade, we have continuously been trying to keep pace with the needs we have as an organization to ensure that we deliver the ultimate service to both customers and retailers ... This new Texas facility means we now have both the space and the location to deliver even faster and effective support for the retail network throughout the Americas, as well as be cost effective in the maintenance of our own vehicles and provision of training courses to our retailers.

Visually and functionally, the headquarters reflects McLaren's engineering ethos. Drawing inspiration from technical centers and racing workshops, the building showcases sleek, polished materials and an open layout to evoke a clean, futuristic environment. Among the standout features that guests and owners explored during the event are expansive office spaces and adjacent training rooms crafted to mirror the ambiance of a professional automotive design studio. The facility also boasts a striking supercar showroom that includes a custom-built, Italian-designed 12-foot by 8-foot video screen that rises to unveil vehicles in a spotlighted alcove, offering a dramatic presentation for product reveals and special events.
This is a truly stunning facility, and we are thrilled a company as prestigious as McLaren, The Americas has decided to move to Coppell. McLaren Automotive is a great corporate partner with a long history of performance, innovation and excellence, who have already helped to support community events and engaged with our local schools in their short time here. We are honored that they have chosen Coppell as their new home.
Wes Mays, Mayor of Coppell
The McLaren Special Operations (MSO) Brand Center within the facility allows clients to engage in highly personalized supercar customization. Here, customers work with both local consultants and design engineers from McLaren's UK headquarters in Woking to create individualized specifications, finishes, and unique design elements. This intimate level of customization exemplifies the brand's commitment to innovation and exclusivity, deepening customer engagement and satisfaction.
In addition to its striking design and high-end presentation features, the headquarters includes a cutting-edge workshop fitted with aircraft-grade lighting. It currently houses four vehicle lifts, with plans to double that number, and supports essential services such as fast charge stations, tire mounting and balancing equipment, and training bays. Dedicated classrooms facilitate hands-on education for technicians, while a custom infinity cove enables high-quality vehicle photography, ensuring visual assets match the excellence of McLaren's engineering.
