Preservation Park Cities will roll out another beloved tradition this fall with the return of the annual Park Cities Car Show, scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Burleson Park in University Park. Presented by Preservation Park Cities and sponsored by URBAN/Allie Beth Allman & Associates, A Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate, the free community event promises a day filled with classic cars, community pride, and support for historic preservation.
Co-chaired by Polly and Dan McKeithen, the founding chairs of the car show, along with Callie Windle, the 2025 edition will once again celebrate the artistry and engineering of hundreds of vintage automobiles and motorcycles. Preservation Park Cities President Jason Morski will join the leadership team in welcoming guests to the show, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A rain date is set for October 25.
The Park Cities Car Show is a highlight for enthusiasts and families alike. Many of the vehicles on display are cherished garage queens
that seldom appear outside their private collections. Admission is free, and visitors are invited to stroll Burleson Park and enjoy a festive atmosphere featuring both timeless automobiles and community camaraderie.
Car and motorcycle owners interested in participating must register online through the Preservation Park Cities website by Wednesday, October 15. Registration is $35 for cars and $30 for motorcycles. Day-of registrations will not be accepted. Register online at preservationparkcities.org/CarShow.
The event is made possible through the generous support of sponsors including Sewell, Hilltop Securities, and Earth MotorCars, with additional partners to be announced. Community partners such as the City of University Park, Texas A&M Forest Service, and University Park Library also contribute to the success of the gathering.
As one of Preservation Park Cities' three annual fundraisers, alongside the Historic Home Tour and Distinguished Speaker Luncheon, the Park Cities Car Show plays a vital role in funding the nonprofit's mission to preserve the history, architecture, aesthetics, and cultural traditions of the Park Cities. Proceeds support programs such as property landmarking, stewardship of archives at the University Park Library, student scholarships, and the Distinguished Chair for History at Highland Park High School. Funds also aid the "Save the Top 100" campaign and the production of The Houses of the Park Cities: An Architectural Guide to the Historic Houses of Highland Park and University Park Texas.
