Meat Fight Presents Third Annual Burger Fight

It’s back and beefier than ever! Meat Fight is amped to announce the third annual Burger Fight. This isn’t just a meat-up, it’s a funlanthropy-driven chef competition, where the best achieve glory and a display-worthy trophy, and the hungry achieve a full belly and a full heart. Oh, and everyone? Everyone involved wins bragging rights.

The Sunday bun bash involves fabulous sliders coming out hot from burger phenoms aiming for the prize of Best Burger, plus beer, ’zerts, and ridiculousness. Bonus: It’s all inside—that means air conditioning!—so you can chill out and only worry about meat sweats and whatever you work up wildin’ out on games.

What about perks, you ask? There’s never been a Meat Fight event without them, and we’re not starting now. Attendees who fancy themselves VIBPs (you’re all very important to us) get early entry and first access to burgers, bevs, and every dang thing GA gets, as well as access to a VIP section with special snacks. We know you love snacks.

Snag tickets online beginning Wednesday, April 23, head to Dallas Youth Sports in Oak Cliff at noon Sunday, May 25, and for the love of a summer smashburger, come hungry! General admission provides you access to chef-crafted sliders from 11 Dallas restaurants. Plus, you’ll get the opportunity to drink beer from Lakewood Brewing Company, Vector Brewing, Four Corners Brewery and Oak Highlands Brewery. Oh, and you can Build-Yer-Own-Sundae with the most crave-able toppings from the best treatmakers in town.

That’s right, you’re not only going to go home full of burger, but also ice cream, and the warm sunny feeling that comes from benefiting a great cause. As you know, 100% of the ticket price goes to support people living with MS, but this year, that money will also fund a groundbreaking pediatric MS research program. Generous support from Goodstock by Nolan Ryan, Chefs’ Produce, Signature Baking Co., and the restaurants and breweries below guarantee this will sizzle as the most epic Burger Fight yet!

100% of proceeds from this 21-and-up event will benefit people living with multiple sclerosis. Funds will support Meat Fight’s Meat Bike program (providing road bikes, recumbent trikes, and equipment for athletes living with MS so that they can take on Bike MS rides all across the US), Meat Hike (providing coaching and the opportunity for athletes living with MS to hike iconic natural paths like the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park) and Project 13 (which supports athletes living with MS with coaching and equipment to take on events including a 70.3 Ironman in Galveston, Texas). Support also goes to the National MS Society and MS Research Endowment with UT Southwestern.

About Meat Fight

Meat Fight is a Dallas-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that donates 100% of ticket sales directly to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Meat Fight began in 2010 in the backyard of James Beard award-winning writer Alice Laussade. With the help and support of the Dallas restaurant and beverage community, the annual event and related events have raised over $3 million for the National MS Society, have created its own MS research endowment with UT Southwestern, provided over 400 Meat Bikes to cyclists living with MS, and has helped over 500 people living with MS nationwide compete in endurance events to stay active.
