Vitruvian Lights Kicks Off Holiday Season by Illuminating Over 1.5 Million Lights

The most dazzling and spectacular time of the year is nearly here! Vitruvian Park transforms into North Texas' most magical FREE holiday wonderland during Vitruvian Lights, when more than 1.5 million sparkling LED lights are wrapped around 555 trees. Beginning Friday, November 25, the lights will be on nightly through Sunday, January 1, 12023. Visitors are encouraged to walk or drive through Vitruvian Park to enjoy the beauty of the lights. This is the 10th annual season for Vitruvian Lights, sponsored by UDR and the Town of Addison.

This year, there will be two special event nights that feature exciting concerts by local performers, gourmet food trucks, sweet treats, FREE photos with Santa, live reindeer, letters to Santa, classic holiday characters, an elf balloon artist and more! At the first event on Friday, November 25, Santa will flip the switch at 6 p.m. to turn the lights on for the season. The lights will be on Friday, November 25 from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., then nightly from Saturday, November 26, through Sunday, January 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The outdoor lights display is FREE to the public.


Events happen from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the following dates with these performers:

  • Friday, November 25: Jordan Kahn Orchestra
  • Saturday, December 3: Dallas String Quartet

Parking ($15, cash only) is available onsite in lots on Bella Lane and Ponte Avenue, as well as at the Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex, 3815 Spring Valley Road, Addison, Texas 75001.
