© Dallas Symphony Orchestra

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present Romeo and Juliet February 13-16, 2020. The timeless story of the young couple is told through the interlaced threads of the feuding Montagues and Capulets, the heavenly harp arpeggios of Friar Laurence's chorale, and the impassioned theme of the star-crossed lovers. Martinu's Fourth Symphony weaves together lyricism and intense emotions with resonances of the just-concluded war. And Principal Bassoon Ted Soluri solos in the world premiere of Chickasaw composer Jerod Tate's new concerto based on the bittersweet Native American love story of the Ghost of the White Deer. Tickets start at $57, and a special Sweetheart Package add-on is available (for $35, enjoy exclusive access to a variety of wine/champagne beverages and full dessert bar).
