2017 Nissan GT-R Boasts Titanium Exhaust, Bose Audio System, and Active Noise Cancellation

Performance

The powerful 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve V6 engine, which sits back in the chassis, takes advantage of a Premium Midship (PM) design for refined balance. The transfer case and dual-clutch transmission, which shift as quickly as 0.15 seconds when in R-Mode, are also mounted in the rear thereby creating the world's first independent rear transaxle for an all-wheel drive vehicle.

Exterior

The GT-R is available in four interior colors and seven striking exterior colors including Blaze Metallic (shown). The titanium exhaust with sound control is hand shaped and custom fit by master craftsman for each individual GT-R.

Interior

Active Noise Cancellation technology uses a microphone in the ceiling to identify and neutralize undesirable low-frequency engine sounds while the vehicle's Active Sound Enhancement brings a more purposeful engine note into the cabin. Simultaneously, the aluminum mounts for the 11-speaker Bose® audio system are situated in the doors and give the body additional rigidity for higher performance.

Safety

The inflation rate of the dual-stage air bags included in the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System adjust depending on crash severity and seat belt usage*. Additionally, standard side-impact supplemental air bags are built into the seats and move as you adjust your seat, and the ALR/ELR seat belts lock in place when the passenger moves forward at a higher than normal rate of speed.

Packages

A supplemental Cold Weather Package includes a special 50:50 coolant mix along with Dunlop® SP Sport 7010 all-season run-flat tires*, and the premium Interior Package features hand-stitched semi-aniline leather-appointed front seats and interior treatments.
