2023 KIA Carnival Offers More Flexible Multi-Purpose Versatility

This reimagined passenger minivan has been newly enhanced to further meet the demands of a multitude of purposes.

After an all-new ground-up redesign on the previous outgoing model, the 2023 Kia Carnival has now been additionally updated with refreshed characteristics ideal for today's active families. This multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) is indeed an MVP when it comes to creature comforts and cargo space for a wide variety of everyday conveniences. Not only does the very nature of the exterior design appeal to a hybrid group of both minivan as well as SUV consumers, but the nimble driving characteristics with tight turning radius makes easy work of urban navigating and in-town parking maneuvers.

The smart-power sliding doors on each side of the vehicle make in-and-out egress extremely convenient, especially when hopping into the stylish second row captain's chairs which fully recline like a relaxing set of residential lounge chairs. Best-in-class passenger space is paired with three available seating arrangements to allow for personal customizations including available eight-passenger Slide-Flex seating on all trim levels. The 3.5 V6 offering 290 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque also enables a tow capacity rating of 3,500 pounds for exciting weekend adventures.

New features on the SX model include standard blind-spot view monitoring and a standard integrated panoramic 12.3-inch digital cluster and 12.3-inch center display. The SX Prestige is also updated to include optional streaming media capability and the optional second-row VIP lounge seats to replace second-row Slide-Flex seats. A rear seat entertainment system with device mirroring is available on SX and SX Prestige models which is integrated via dual 12.3-inch panoramic connectivity displays; and a whopping nine USB chargers with a front wireless charger ensure that technology devices are always ready for use. So whether you are simply schlepping kids around town or escaping for a woodsy weekend getaway, the 2023 Kia Carnival has enough space, comfort, and power for a wide array of lifestyle configurations.

With so many Kia models ranking first or second in their respective segments, there's no doubt that quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are an integral part of every vehicle Kia builds—no matter the segment.
