The entire island bursts into vibrant life with a grand spectacle of extravagant parades, over 50 lively galas and festive gatherings, the spirited tradition of bead throwing, captivating exhibits, live entertainment, and a tempting array of fine Gulf Coast cuisine. The majority of parades wind their way through downtown, allowing visitors to witness the spectacle from street level or revel in the view from above at a lively balcony party. Additionally, the main concert stages are strategically positioned downtown, playing host to the event's headline performances. For an even more scenic experience, the festival's grandest parades traverse the picturesque beachfront along Seawall Boulevard.
