SWING FOR THE FENCES! Come tour and sign up for HITS400™, an exciting new baseball and fast pitch training center, during an Open House on Saturday, March 31, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bring the family for free hotdogs, then catch an autograph or snap a photo with Olympic gold medalist/softball superstar Jennie Finch and former Texas Ranger standout Kevin Mench! (NOTE: The facility opens to the public offering all services –food, batting cages and more – Monday, April 9. Details forthcoming!)
HITS400™ is the first in the nation to offer a high-end, one-stop-shop baseball training center equipped with real-dirt pitching mounds, genuine turf, stadium lighting systems and video simulators for a nostalgia-meets-modern-day facility. At the luxurious indoor center, fans can swing against real pitchers in the ProBatter Baseball and Fast Pitch simulators and take advantage of the Ultimate Trainer Cages, a pitching tunnel and more!
HITS400™ features state-of the art technology and the same premium surfaces found in pro baseball organizations. To deliver the most authentic experience, pitchers will take the mound and batters will swing from “real dirt” surfaces. Also, HITS400™ boasts professional-quality stadium lights; a retail store called the H Pro Shop offering the latest lines of top-quality baseball bats, gloves and more plus HITS400™ merchandise. Family members also will enjoy the high-end H Café, featuring designer coffees and beverages and an array of light, healthy foods.
During the Open House, baseball and softball players of all ages and every skill level will have a chance to sign up to rent batting cages and the Fast Pitch video simulators. Also, parents can sign up for Little Hitters, a weekly youth sports development program offering baseball and softball skill-building classes for children ages 2 – 5.
