WHAT: Texas 10 Under 20 Contest presented by School of Rock at the 35th Annual Dallas International Guitar Festival
OVERVIEW: The “Texas 10 Under 20 Contest” is a contest designed to discover and showcase the best young guitarists and bands with great young guitarists. The contest is open to rock/blues/pop musicians who are 20 years old or younger and takes place Now through April 4th.
Guitarists and bands can enter the contest by submitting a video of their performance to DEMO@GUITARSHOW.com Now through April 4, 2012. The top (10) guitarists/bands will be chosen to perform at the Dallas International Guitar Festival on Sunday, April 22nd during the “Texas 10 Under 20” Showcase and Finals 1pm – 3pm on the festival’s Freeway Stage.
At the showcase, the grand prize winner(s) will be chosen by a panel of premier guitarists/musicians and receives the 2012 “Texas 10 Under 20” trophy along with other great prizes such as a guitar, guitar equipment and a free month of lessons from School of Rock. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded.

Advance tickets can be purchased on-line at guitarshow.com and will be at the door throughout the festival. Single day tickets are available along with 2 & 3 Day Passes. VIP Tickets also available – includes front of stage VIP seating.
