Dallas Theater Center is thrilled to introduce North Texas audiences to POWERBOMB!, a video game inspired by DTC's upcoming production The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity by Kristoffer Diaz. POWERBOMB! is a collaboration between Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and DTC as part of The Black Women Playwrights' Group's Cyber Narrative Initiative.
In POWERBOMB!, participants play Mace, the talented wrestler whose job it is to lose to THE wrestling champion, Chad Deity. The player's goal is to make Chad Deity look like a champ by actively receiving beatdowns from Chad. The more beatdowns a player receives, the more points a player earns. Earn enough points, and the player will be handsomely rewarded with discounted tickets to DTC's The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity.
