It’s time again for the State Fair of Texas, and this year you can:
Listen to musical performances by Kansas, Kevin Costner & Modern West, The Commodores, Kevin Fowler, Le Freak (disco band), and more to be announced.
Bite into a corny dog or a turkey leg at the Coca-Cola Food Court; or taste creative items like past years’ Buffalo Chicken in a Flapjack, Fried Bubblegum, Fried Beer, Texas Fried Fritos Pie, Deep Fried S’mores Pop• Tart®, or fried lemonade.
Attend Cotton Bowl football games where Grambling State vs. Prairie View A&M on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 6:00 PM; and the AT&T Red River Rivalry® Texas vs. Oklahoma on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
Rush your adrenaline in the Thrillway section or at one of the 70+ attractions of the Midway including the 212-foot Texas Star® Ferris wheel and 1914 Dentzel carousel, or get a bird's-eye view of Fair Park from a gondola along the Texas Skyway aerial track which stretches 1,800 feet between two stations.
