November and December Chihuly Nights are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 - 9 pm excluding Wednesday, November 21 and Monday, December 24. Additional Chihuly Nights include Sunday evenings in December and every night from December 26 - 30. Note: The garden will close from 5:00-6:00 PM on these days to prepare for evening activities. Admission to the garden is available until 8 PM.
The Dallas Arboretum is proud to host this highly-anticipated exhibition in which legendary Artist Dale Chihuly brings his iconic glass sculpture artwork to the Dallas Arboretum. Inspired by nature, these spectacular installations are specifically designed to respond to the vistas, architecture, and magnificent gardens.
During the last decade, ninety-seven of Chihuly's exhibitions have been presented in seven countries including installations at museums, gardens, architectural environments, and galleries throughout the world, and have been enjoyed by more than 10 million visitors. The Dallas exhibit will be Dale Chihuly's twelfth outdoor garden exhibition, and is expected to attract several hundred thousand visitors. During the daytime, the Arboretum will offer educational materials, programs, and classes for children and adults.
As the sun sets, enjoy Chihuly Nights when the artist's magnificently lit sculptures are exhibited in the evening glow of moonlight and tree lights. On Tuesday and Thursday nights (May - July and September - October), the Arboretum will also feature some of the best local musical talent performing on the award-winning Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn overlooking scenic White Rock Lake. Guests can bring their own food and beverage of choice into the garden, or choose from various available on-site dining options as well.
Note: The Chihuly exhibition has been extended through December 31 as a holiday gift to the City of Dallas from the Arboretum Board of Directors.
