Dressed in a hairnet and an apron, take a
behind-the-scenes tour of the cheese factory, and then
join a discussion on the methods of making mozzarella,
ricotta, and other cheeses. Receive a block of fresh
mozzarella curd, learn to stretch and form mozzarella,
and how to make fresh ricotta. Conclude with a wine and
cheese tasting of award winning cheeses, then take home
your apron and a division of the cheese that the class
has made. Students must be 16 years or older, and
guests are advised to wear waterproof shoes with
non-slip soles. |
