“Almost all of the world's finest wines are 'blended
wines', made from blending different grapes and
different vats or barrels of the same grape. At its most
basic, vintners blend wine made from different grapes
and vintages in order to add more complexity to the
flavor and texture of a wine. A Meritage wine is a great
example of blending wines in the Bordeaux tradition.
This class will explore and sample the world of blended wines.”
