Café Momentum has partnered with legendary baseball Hall of Famer and Texas Rangers radio announcer Eric Nadel to create a series of unique family-style dinner events fusing gourmet meals with acoustic performances by top artists.
Eric Nadel's Sunday Supper Concert Series begins on Sunday, November 26 with a performance by recording artist Daphne Willis. Tickets for the family-style meal, which include wine, beer, and champagne, are $85 per person and can be purchased online. The dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at Café Momentum, 1510 Pacific Ave. in Dallas.
Café Momentum founder Chad Houser could not be more excited about the series.
Sunday suppers at my grandparents' house were an important part of shaping my love for food. I have always wanted to integrate that culture into Café Momentum. Having a big family-style feast, and experiencing an intimate live performance is a wonderful opportunity to expose our interns to a sense of community and the arts.
I'm blown away by what Café Momentum has been able to achieve with at risk youths in a very short time, added Nadel.
Having a chance to support their cause and showcase my favorite emerging musical talents is an incredible opportunity for me. What could be better than the combination of exquisite food and brilliant musicians in a family atmosphere.
The family-style menu for the November 26 event includes dishes that hold special meaning to Daphne and Eric as interpreted through Chad's cooking style and technique; including Daphne's mom's Thanksgiving Gumbo (with potato salad) and Jalapeno Cornbread, and Crawfish Boil-Style Vegetables.
Artist Daphne Willis has collaborated across multiple genres ranging from Roots-Rock and Pop to Hip Hop and Electronic Dance Music. She was signed for worldwide publishing by Sony/ATV Music Publishing in 2016 resulting in her work being used in Commercial, Film and TV productions such as
One Tree Hill,
Empire and a Microsoft ad campaign. Her new single,
is available on iTunes, Spotify and other online platforms.
Eric Nadel's Sunday Supper Concert Series are scheduled for January, February and March 2018 with artists announcements coming soon.
