PLEASE NOTE: The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center today announced that, due to the strong likelihood of bad weather this Saturday evening, December 3, it is postponing its free outdoor, family event, Reliant Lights Your Holidays. The Center is working to reschedule the event and is looking forward to announcing a new date soon.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center today announced that its annual Reliant Lights Your Holidays will take place Saturday, December 3, 2016. The event, which is held on the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., will feature:
- Illumination of hundreds of thousands of dazzling LED lights placed on the Center's iconic venues and trees.
- Live performances by RaeLynn and A.B. Quintanilla y Elektro Kumbia
- Free photos with Santa.
- Special appearance by Miss America 2017, Savvy Shields.
- A fireworks display in Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park.
Each will perform a selection of their hits and holiday classics and are being presented by the David M. Crowley Foundation.
UNIVISION 23 is the official media sponsor of Reliant Lights Your Holidays.
On the same day, Celebrate the Holidays at Klyde Warren Park, presented by Nissan, will take place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Activities will include:
- Free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Holiday kids’ crafts
- Food trucks
- Activities and demonstrations from our Dallas arts and cultural friends and neighbors
- Holiday music entertainment
- NEW! Holiday show culminating with lighting of the Klyde Warren Park Christmas tree
Following the Park's holiday show at 5:45 p.m. and tree lighting at 6:00 p.m., Santa Claus will lead the crowd to the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Attendees are encouraged to make the five-minute walk from Klyde Warren Park to the AT&T Performing Arts Center where the Reliant Lights Your Holidays festivities will be under way.
AT&T Performing Arts Center
Resident companies of the AT&T Performing Arts Center include Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, The Dallas Opera, Dallas Theater Center, and Texas Ballet Theater.
Reliant Lights Your Holidays begins at 5:30 p.m. in Sammons Park on the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus with holiday music and food trucks. Center Cafe will also be open to the public.
Bill Clayton, Vice President of NRG Retail Customer Care at Reliant, will help flip the switch and illuminate more than 550,000 holiday lights across the Center's campus. The lights, which will remain on throughout the holiday season, will outline the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre and trees in Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park.
Reliant continues its sponsorship of this signature holiday event, serving as the Official Energy Provider of the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Reliant recently joined with the Center to host PRELUDE: A Preview of Aurora 2017 - Powered by Reliant in the Dallas Arts District.

Other performances will take place in the Arts District on December 3: Dallas Theater Center will present A Christmas Carol in the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at 8:00 p.m., Dallas City Performance Hall will host The Dallas Women's Chorus at 7:30 p.m., The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will present their Pops Concert at 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and Texas Ballet Theater will present The Nutcracker in the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
