Now in its eleventh year, the 2016 No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party, presented by the Purple Foundation, returns to its humble beginning and foundation: life. Themed
You Only Live Twice, inspired by the James Bond film and Nancy Sinatra song by the same name, the much-anticipated event celebrates ASD's mission and journey over the last 25 plus years to improve the lives of economically disadvantaged individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. The 2016 No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party will be held on Saturday, April 9, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Frontiers of Flight Museum (6911 Lemmon Avenue, Dallas, TX, 75209). VIP tickets are $150 (includes deluxe VIP lounge with bar and exclusive auction and raffle items), and general admission tickets are $75. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.notiedinner.org.
Hosted by No Tie's Honorary Co-Chairs Angel and Marie Reyes and No Tie Chair David Nelson, ASD's largest fundraiser begins with a dinner hosted at various homes throughout DFW. More than 1,500 attendees unite to feast on desserts and dance the night away to the lively tunes of Mark Ridland (a.k.a. DJ Mr. Rid). Live and silent auctions and surprise performances coordinated by Rob and Deanna Cahill entertain throughout the magical evening. Ben E. Keith and William Grant & Sons, a family-owned distillery with an award-winning portfolio of spirits including Reyka Icelandic Vodka, Tullamore D.E.W., and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, will feature a vast array of delicious libations. The official signature cocktail this year is the
Reyka Double Bond made with Reyka, cranberry juice and a splash of ginger ale.
