Viva! El Paso
McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre
El Paso, TX
Four centuries. Four cultures. One city.
Depicting four hundred years of history by focusing on the main four cultures that have influenced El Paso (Indian, Spanish, Mexican, and Cowboy), Viva! El Paso is a two-hour musical extravaganza which takes place outdoors during summer months at the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater. Produced by the El Paso Association for the Performing Arts (EPAPA), the show depicts the Spanish Conquest, the Mexican border influence and Westward expansion of the United States through music, drama, narration, song, and dances styles such as jazz, flamenco, folklorico, ballet, and modern.
