We usually see a wide range of outfits including business suits, business casual attire, dressy dresses, short summer dresses, as well as quite a few jeans. Dress does tend to 'spiff' up during the holiday season, however.
A buffet is served before each performance (price is about $21.95 - $25.95, subject to change, and is not included with your ticket.) Reservations are recommended, but not required; call 214-413-3940. Dining at the Music Hall opens at 11:45 AM for matinee performances and 5:45 PM for evening performances. Lighter fare is available at the bistro and is more moderate in cost. Bars are set up in the lobby areas, and drinks are allowed into the theatre at the discretion of the presenter. Currently food may not be taken into the theatre.
The DART green line will drop you off right at the front gate of Fair Park. Just hop off the train at the Fair Park station, walk through the gate, and veer to the right. The Music Hall is right there within very short walking distance (even if you are dressed up or in high heels.)
Parking
For the majority of the year, parking is available without an additional charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter the Fairgrounds at Grand Avenue, or as directed by parking attendants.
