The countdown is on for the start of summer's hottest dining event -- the 19th annual DFW Restaurant Week presented by Your Metroplex Cadillac Dealers. The official list of participating restaurants has been unveiled and diners can begin booking lunch and dinner reservations for August 15-21 and beyond. DFW Restaurant Week supports the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in the Dallas area and Lena Pope in Tarrant County, with proceeds from each meal benefiting the charities' work to help local children and families in need. This year's campaign will launch with an exciting new DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival.

DFW Restaurant Week 2016 - Delicious Details

Diners can find the official list of DFW Restaurant Week participating restaurants, including menus and reservation links, at DFWRestaurantWeek.com. During DFW Restaurant Week in August, diners can experience a different scene and cuisine each day as they select from more than 125 top restaurants offering delicious three-course prix fixe dinners for either $35 or $45. Many restaurants will also offer the Cadillac Lunch Experience brought to you by Oak Farms Dairy, featuring two-course lunches for just $20. Twenty percent of each meal purchased will be donated to one of the charity partners, NTFB or Lena Pope. Key offerings include:

  • Preview Weekend - Aug. 12-14
Advance Preview dining at select restaurants

  • DFW Restaurant Week - Aug. 15-21
Many restaurants will extend through Aug. 28 or Sept. 4

  • Central Market Fourth Course Certificates
Spend $25 at local Central Markets and request a certificate for a FREE additional dinner course at participating restaurants!

As the North Texas Food Bank's single largest fundraiser, DFW Restaurant Week provides the perfect opportunity for supporters to dine out and give back this August, said Simon Powell, NTFB Chief Operating Officer, interim president and CEO. Each dollar we receive from the campaign provides three meals for hungry North Texans.

DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival

The first-ever DFW Restaurant Week Food & Wine Festival presented by VisitDallas.com will officially kick-off DFW Restaurant Week with two-evenings of food and fun. Attendees will enjoy a variety of culinary experiences by top restaurants, domestic and international wines, cocktails and more. Live entertainment will include Big Bad VooDoo Daddy and Magic! The event, held the evenings of Aug. 12 and Aug. 13, will take place in the heart of downtown Dallas at Main Street Garden. General admission and VIP tickets are now on sale at DFW Restaurant Week's new year-round website, DFWRW365.com.

DFW Restaurant Week provides critical funds for our counseling and education programs while also supporting local restaurants at a traditionally slower time of year, said Lena Pope CEO Todd A. Landry. By dining out for a cause, DFW Restaurant Week supporters helped us provide more than 1,400 counseling sessions and helped us educate over 600 kids last year. We encourage everyone to enjoy a delicious meal and help our families grow stronger at the same time!
